There are a whole range of complementary therapies that can be used to supplement 'conventional' treatments. I decided to take full advantage of what was on offer from the hospital and have found great benefit in reiki, nutrional advice, foot massage and head massage.

I do not look at these as a 'cure' for cancer, but rather as providing some relief from the cures of chemotherapy, surgery and drugs that I am taking.

I have been fortunate to be referred to Laurel Alexander, who like myself had breast cancer and after recovery decided to become qualified in a number of complementary therapies and practice in the Brighton area. She gives the meanest foot massage in town and is incredibly supportive in a way that only someone who has been through this journey can be.
